Admission Requirements & Application Procedures

Undergraduate Admissions

Domestic Students:

Apply via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Admission is based on the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

International Students:

Apply directly through UTS International or authorized agents. Requirements include:

• High school certificate equivalent to Year 12 (e.g., IB, A-levels)
• Proof of English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall, no band below 6.0 (some programs may require higher)
• Academic transcripts
• Passport copy
• Personal statement or portfolio (for selected programs)

Postgraduate Admissions

General Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• CV/resume (for professional programs)
• English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 79+)
• Two academic/professional references (optional for some programs)

Applications are accepted online via the UTS application portal. Some programs have mid-year and rolling intakes.

Undergraduate Fees:

AUD $31,000 – $43,000 per year depending on program

Postgraduate Fees:

AUD $33,000 – $48,000 per year
